The Changes in a Life Time

Throuh the days of growing up things aree slowly changing whether we can realize it or not. Can you see some of the changes occuring as we grow older? Maybe if we took a look at the price of gas.I remmeber going to the gas station near my old house when i was five years old. back then the price of gas was $1.20 a gallon. Then when i was six we moved to another house and there happen to be a gas station near by and i remember the price when i was six, had gone up to $1.35. As i grew older and older i remember my grandmother always complaining about the gas prices. Yes she is pretty conservative wth her money and rather cheap. When entered intermediate school, gas had went above two dollars a gallon. And in 7th grade was when it was at $2.20. My grandmother was refusing to drive and pick us up from school, but she had to. As i went throught high school, the trajic event of september 11 occured. This drove gas prices through the roof. I remember gas bieng as high as $4.09. Now that i drive it actually affects me. The price of gas and the oil companies selling them are going through great ups and downs with the prices. There are many problems wit the oil companies with them finding more oil. If me and my friends were at school and were fooling around playing some football, and we stepped in a muddy looking puddle. We looked closer at the puddle because it looked kinda thick and black. We found out that it was oil and we told the people in charge of the school what we had found. Maybe the school would open a big oil drill in the middle of the campus and cut aus a piece of what its bieng sold for. Then we all be rich, but ofcourse thats if the school decided to drill in the middle of the campus, which would bring great changes!
